Translate your first image
Start with one clear product image. A small test makes it easier to check the language, layout and export before processing a whole catalog.
- Open the Image Translator.
- Click the upload area or drag in one JPG, PNG or WebP image smaller than 5 MB.
- Set Source Language to the language in your image and choose Target Language.
- Choose a Text translation method. The current form uses VOKNOV Smart Layout 3.0.
- Enable Product area protection if text or details on the product should be preserved.
- Click Translate Now and wait for processing. The completed image opens in the editor.
- Review the text and image, confirm the save status, then choose Export โ Download.
For example, to localize a Chinese product image for an English listing, choose Chinese as the source and English as the target. Changing the website's display language alone does not set the translation direction.

Sign in and find your workspace
Open Sign in and select Continue with Google. This is the sign-in and account creation route for new PicTech.ai users. Complete Google's sign-in prompts, then return to PicTech.ai.
Existing phone account login is provided for previously registered mainland China phone accounts. New phone registration is not offered in the current international sign-in flow. For a Google account, manage password recovery with Google rather than the legacy phone reset form.
Use the account menu to open User Center. Its main areas are:
- Overview: your plan, balance and recent activity.
- Tasks: single-image and batch translation records.
- Credits: balance changes and usage details.
- Billing: plan status, subscription history and the billing portal.
Use the same Google account when returning on another browser or device to find the corresponding workspace and purchases.

Prepare images that translate well
The single-image and batch translation uploaders accept JPG, PNG and WebP, with a limit of less than 5 MB per image. Other tools have their own upload requirements; check the message on the tool you are using.
- Use the original image when possible. Text should remain legible when you zoom in.
- Keep headings, labels and product details inside the image boundaries.
- If an image is too large, compress it or resize it, then check that small text is still readable.
- If a file is rejected, export it as a genuine JPG, PNG or WebP. Renaming a file extension does not convert the file.
- Keep your source image and download completed work to your own storage.
Small lettering, unusual fonts, text on curved packaging and complex backgrounds can need more review. Start with a representative image before applying the same settings to a batch.

Choose languages and translation settings
Source and target languages
Source Language describes the text already in the image. Target Language is the language you want in the result. Use the choices in each dropdown; source and target lists may differ. The form supports searching language names. Check both fields on each new task, especially after switching between projects.
Text translation
The current English form offers Machine translation, VOKNOV AI translation, DeepSeek large model and Qwen large model. This setting controls the translated wording. Compare a sample result against your product terminology and the tone needed for your market.
Regardless of the selected method, check names, sizes, materials, units, numbers and product claims before publishing. A translation can be grammatically correct while still needing a shorter headline or your preferred brand wording.
Smart layout
The current international form shows VOKNOV Smart Layout 3.0. It reconstructs translated text in the image. Review line breaks, text size and spacing in the editor, particularly when the target text is longer than the original.
Product area protection
Select Enable product protection when the main product area should retain its original details or lettering. This is useful for labels, packaging, logos and model markings. It is an AI-assisted setting, so inspect the result. If a region needs its original pixels back, use Restore in the editor.
User Guide / 05
Review and edit the translated image
After a single translation finishes, PicTech.ai opens the image editor. Translation History appears on the left, the image canvas is in the center, and canvas information appears alongside it. The top controls include Eraser, Restore, the text control, Compare Edit, the save status and Save Changes.
Correct text and layout
- Select a translated text object on the canvas. Enter text-editing mode to correct its wording.
- Use the text controls to adjust available styles, text size or alignment, and move or resize the object as needed.
- Keep text clear of the product, labels, arrows and important image details.
- Use Undo and Redo to review changes, and Zoom In, Zoom Out or Fit Screen to inspect the composition.
The text control can also add a text object. Editing is useful for a shorter headline, a preferred product term or a corrected number; it does not replace checking the original image.
Compare with the original
Choose Compare Edit to inspect the source beside the result. Sync zoom keeps the views aligned while Free zoom lets you inspect each separately. Check that every important label was translated and that protected areas still look right.
Clean an area with Eraser
Choose Eraser, adjust the brush size, paint over the area to remove, and confirm Erase. Work on small regions first. Avoid painting across product edges or details you need to preserve.
Bring back a region with Restore
Choose Restore, drag a rectangle over the region that should use the original image, then select Apply Restore. This is useful for recovering a logo, product marking or an area that should not have changed.
Save your work
The editor shows its save status and an auto-save switch. Use Save Changes before leaving or exporting, and wait until the status shows Saved. If saving fails, keep the page open, check your connection and retry saving before moving to another image.

Export and download
Select Export in the editor to open Export Settings. Check the preview, enter a File name, and choose a Format:
- PNG / Lossless: useful when you want to retain image quality or need transparency.
- JPG / Compressed: useful for smaller product photos when a solid background is appropriate.
- WebP / Efficient: a balance of quality and file size for destinations that accept WebP.
Adjust Quality if that option appears for the selected format, then click Download. Copy to clipboard is also available where the browser supports it.
Open the downloaded file and check the text at normal viewing size. Match the destination marketplace's current pixel dimensions, file type and size requirements. Saving an editor task and downloading a local file are separate actions.

Translate a batch of images
Batch translation requires an active plan. It accepts up to 50 images per task, with the same JPG, PNG and WebP formats and per-image size limit as single translation. Each translated image uses 1 credit; the form shows the estimated cost before you submit.
- Choose Batch Translate (New) in the editor, or open Batch Translation.
- Add images and review the previews. Remove unintended files before continuing.
- Choose the batch's source and target languages, text translation method and product protection setting.
- Check the image count and estimated credits, then start the translation.
- Open Tasks or the batch task list to follow the order and its individual image states.
- Open completed results for review and editing. Use Batch Download to package the available results.
Group images with the same language direction and review needs together. Split more than 50 images into separate tasks. A submission confirmation means the task was accepted; it does not mean every image has finished. If only some items fail, check those items before submitting a new batch.

Remove backgrounds and make white-background images
Open Background Removal, upload an image and wait for the result. Inspect fine edges, hair, transparent materials and shadows before downloading.
- Use Erase/Restore under Fine-tune Edit if the cutout needs an edge correction.
- Under Edit Background, choose Transparent, Color or Image. Use a white color for a plain product background.
- Select Compare Original & Result to inspect the change.
- Choose Download Transparent for the cutout, or Download Composed for the result with your chosen background.
Use a format that supports transparency when you need it; JPG cannot preserve a transparent background.
For multiple products, use Batch Background Removal or Batch White Background. Review the queue and completed previews, then download the results. Current plans include unlimited single-image AI background removal; batch background removal and batch white backgrounds use 1 credit per image. Check your plan and the tool's usage notice before starting.
User Guide / 09
Remove unwanted objects with AI Magic Eraser
Open AI Magic Eraser to remove an unwanted object or a distracting region from an image.
- Upload the image and choose a brush size suited to the area.
- Paint over the object you want to remove. Include its edges, while keeping required product details outside the mask.
- Select Smart Erase and wait for the replacement background.
- Inspect the repair. Use undo or another small pass if needed.
- Select Download Result when the image is ready.
Erasing reconstructs a region from its surroundings; it cannot recover a hidden original photo. Large masks, complex textures and objects overlapping the product can need extra review. Current subscription plans include unlimited AI object erasure; availability for your account is shown in the tool and on Pricing.

Finish the image with other tools
The website's More Tools menu links to the tools available on PicTech.ai. Use them after translation when preparing a listing or campaign:
- Compress: add images, set the compression options, preview the result and download.
- Image Resizer: choose the required dimensions or scaling options, check proportions and export.
- Format Conversion: choose the destination format and download converted images.
- Add Watermark: add text or a logo, set its appearance and position, then export. Batch options are available in the tool.
- Crop: select the crop area or ratio and export the cropped image.
- Image Stitcher: arrange images and download the combined result.
- Markdown to Image: prepare the document, inspect the rendered preview and export it as an image.
- Image/Base64 Converter and Color Analysis: convert image data or inspect image colors.
- Online Screen Recorder: choose the browser's screen-sharing source, record, stop and download. Screen access requires your permission.
Upload limits and export options vary by tool. Check the options in that tool rather than applying the translation uploader's rules to every feature.

Understand free use, credits, billing and history
Free translation and plan credits
- Without signing in: 1 single-image translation per day.
- Signed-in free account: up to 5 single-image translations per day. This is the signed-in daily allowance, not five extra images on top of the guest allowance.
- Active plan: single-image and batch translation use 1 credit per image. Plan users use credits instead of the daily single-image quota.
The current Pricing page lists Starter, Pro and Business, with 1,000, 4,000 and 12,000 monthly credits respectively. It offers Monthly and Yearly billing. Credits are issued monthly and reset according to the plan's cycle; check the live balance and next refresh in User Center.
Subscribe or review billing
Open Subscribe / Plans, choose the billing cycle and plan, and review the checkout before completing payment. PicTech.ai's current checkout is powered by Polar, with prices displayed in USD. Follow the final checkout for the total and applicable terms.
After payment, return to PicTech.ai and check User Center โ Billing and Credits using the same account. Billing โ Access billing portal opens the available billing management and receipt options. If the portal does not open or a payment is not reflected, contact support with your account email and order reference.
Download before history expires
The current pricing page lists 3 days of storage for free-user data and 30-day history storage for paid plans. Download source files and final exports that you need to keep. Task history is a working area, so do not use it as your only archive.

Troubleshoot and contact support
A file will not upload
For translation, confirm the actual file type is JPG, PNG or WebP and the file is smaller than 5 MB. Try opening it locally, then export a fresh copy if it is damaged or an unsupported format.
A task is slow or appears stuck
Processing time varies with image size, text density, background complexity and the queue. Check the task list for the current state before resubmitting. If a task fails, keep its order ID and error message. Repeated submissions can create duplicate tasks.
Text is wrong, missing or crowded
Recheck the source and target languages and the clarity of the input. Use the editor to correct wording and fit the text. Compare the result against the original before exporting. For a product area that should remain unchanged, use product protection before translation or Restore afterward.
Credits, payment or downloads look wrong
Confirm you are signed in to the intended account, refresh the workspace and check Tasks, Credits and Billing. For a download problem, keep the editor open, check its save status and the browser's download permissions, then try Export again.
