FAQ / 01

Getting started

Sign-in, image requirements and language settings.

Can I translate images for free?

Yes. Guests can translate 1 single image per day. A signed-in free account can translate up to 5 single images per day. An active plan uses credits instead: 1 credit per image for both single and batch translation. Check the live allowance in the tool or User Center.

How do I create an account or sign in?

Open Sign in and select Continue with Google. New accounts use Google email. Existing phone account login is for previously registered mainland China phone accounts; new phone registration is not offered. Use the same account to return to your workspace and purchases.

Which files can I upload for translation?

Single and batch image translation accept JPG, PNG and WebP images smaller than 5 MB each. If a file is rejected, check its real format and size; changing its extension is not a conversion. Other tools may have different upload limits.

How do I choose the translation language?

Set Source Language to the language already in the image and Target Language to the output language. Select from the choices in each dropdown. Changing the website language does not automatically change the translation direction. See translation settings.

Can I use PicTech.ai on a phone?

Yes. The translator and several tools provide a mobile layout. Controls can be arranged differently from the desktop steps in this guide. For detailed canvas editing, comparing fine text or reviewing a large batch, a larger screen is easier to work with.

FAQ / 02

Translation and editing

Wording, layout, product protection and corrections.

What is the difference between Text translation and Smart layout?

Text translation controls the wording. The current form offers Machine translation, VOKNOV AI translation, DeepSeek large model and Qwen large model. Smart layout places translated text back into the image; the current international form uses VOKNOV Smart Layout 3.0. Review both the wording and the composition in the editor.

Where do I select Smart Layout 1.0 or 2.0?

The current PicTech.ai translation form shows VOKNOV Smart Layout 3.0. Follow the options actually displayed in the international form. Screenshots and instructions from PicTech.cc can show different controls and plan rules.

How do I keep a logo or text on the product unchanged?

Before translating, select Enable product protection under Product area protection. Inspect the result because automatic protection can need correction. In the editor, use Restore, select the required region and choose Apply Restore to bring back original pixels.

Can I correct a translation after it finishes?

Yes. Select the translated text on the editor canvas, edit its wording and adjust the available text controls or its position. Use Compare Edit to check against the original, select Save Changes, wait for Saved, then export. See the editor walkthrough.

Why is a translation missing, crowded or inaccurate?

First check the source language, target language and input clarity. Very small text, unusual fonts, curved labels and busy backgrounds can affect recognition. Longer target text can need shorter wording, a different text size or manual line breaks. Review names, quantities and units against the original before exporting.

What is the difference between Eraser and Restore?

Eraser removes a painted area and reconstructs the background. Restore brings a selected region back from the original image. Use small, precise regions so required product details remain intact.

Does saving also download the image?

No. Save Changes saves the editable task. Export → Download creates a local image file. Check the Saved status before exporting and keep your downloaded final files in your own storage.

FAQ / 03

Batch work and exports

Task limits, review, formats and downloads.

Do I need a subscription for batch translation?

Yes. Batch translation is a plan feature. An active plan and sufficient credits are needed. Single and batch translation use 1 credit per image; the batch form displays the estimated cost before submission.

How many images can I translate in one batch?

Up to 50 images per task, each a JPG, PNG or WebP smaller than 5 MB. Split a larger collection into separate tasks. Keep one language direction per batch and test a representative image before processing the rest.

What should I do when only part of a batch succeeds?

Open the batch task and inspect the status of each item. Download or edit completed items, and record the IDs and error messages of failed ones. Check task status and credit history before retrying so you do not submit completed images again.

Which export format should I choose?

The translation editor offers PNG, JPG and WebP in Export Settings. PNG is lossless and supports transparency; JPG is useful for compressed photos with a solid background; WebP balances quality and size where supported. Choose a format accepted by your destination marketplace.

Why did my transparent background turn solid?

JPG does not support transparency. Use Download Transparent in Background Removal and retain a transparency-supporting format such as PNG. Download Composed exports the result with the background you selected.

What if Download or Copy to clipboard does not work?

Keep the editor open, confirm the task is saved, and check the browser's download or clipboard permissions. Try Export → Download instead of copying to the clipboard. If it still fails, send support the task ID, selected format, browser version and error message.

FAQ / 04

Plans, credits and billing

Allowances, subscription credits and account checks.

Are daily free translations and credits the same balance?

No. The free daily allowance applies to single-image translation. Active plan users use credits instead of that allowance, including for single-image translation. Other credit-based features have their own rates. Check User Center → Credits and the tool's usage notice.

What plans are available?

The current Pricing page lists Starter with 1,000 monthly credits, Pro with 4,000 and Business with 12,000, with Monthly and Yearly billing choices. Use the live pricing page and checkout for current prices, features and totals.

Do unused credits roll over?

The current plans state that credits are issued monthly and reset at the end of each applicable cycle. Daily free quota also refreshes daily and does not roll over. Check your account's balance and next refresh rather than treating a yearly subscription as one unrestricted annual credit pool.

Do background removal and object erasure also use credits?

Current paid plans include unlimited single-image AI background removal and AI object erasure. Batch background removal and batch white backgrounds use 1 credit per image. Read the current plan details and the tool notice for your account before submitting work.

Which checkout does PicTech.ai use?

The current international subscription page uses Polar checkout and displays prices in USD. Select a billing cycle and plan on PicTech.ai, then review the final checkout total and terms before paying.

Where do I manage billing or find receipts?

Open User Center, choose Billing, and select Access billing portal to see the available subscription management and receipt options. If the portal is unavailable or you need help with a plan change, contact support@vokwa.com.

I paid, but my plan or credits have not updated. What should I do?

Check that you returned to the same PicTech.ai account used to start checkout. Refresh User Center and inspect Billing and Credits. If the purchase still does not appear, contact support with the account email and payment/order reference before making another purchase.

FAQ / 05

History and support

Saved work, troubleshooting and the right contact.

How long is my task history kept?

The current pricing page lists 3 days of storage for free-user data and 30-day history storage for paid plans. Download source images and completed exports that you need to keep. Do not use task history as your only archive.

How long does image translation take?

Time varies with image size, text density, background complexity and the processing queue. Check the existing task state before starting another one. If a task fails or remains unresolved, keep its task ID and error message for support; there is no fixed completion time for every image.

Can I follow the PicTech.cc manual for PicTech.ai?

Use this international guide for PicTech.ai. Sign-in, free allowances, subscription plans, payment methods and visible controls can differ from PicTech.cc. For example, the international sign-in route for new users is Google, and its signed-in free translation allowance is up to 5 images per day.

Who should I contact about integrations or larger workflows?

Email business@vokwa.com with your workflow, expected image volume and language requirements. Confirm the options offered for PicTech.ai directly; the domestic site's API access, keys or service levels should not be assumed to apply to the international product.

What should I include when contacting support?

Email support@vokwa.com with your PicTech.ai account email, tool, task/order ID, approximate time and time zone, browser, and the exact error or a relevant screenshot. Share an example image only if appropriate. Never send passwords or login credentials.
